These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GPT-CLIK browser extension ("Extension", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using GPT-CLIK, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.
1. About GPT-CLIK
GPT-CLIK is a browser extension that helps users send selected text to supported AI platforms, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
GPT-CLIK is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other third-party AI platform unless explicitly stated.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use this Extension. By using GPT-CLIK, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GPT-CLIK for personal or internal business use.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Extension for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Extension, related infrastructure, or connected third-party services.
- Misrepresent GPT-CLIK as an official product of any third-party AI provider.
4. Third-Party Services
GPT-CLIK interacts with third-party websites and AI services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for:
- Availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.
- Content generated by third-party AI platforms.
- Any account actions, data handling, or policy changes by third-party providers.
5. User Content and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the text and content you select, submit, or transmit through GPT-CLIK.
You must not submit content that:
- Violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity.
- Contains sensitive or confidential data where sharing is not authorized.
6. Privacy
GPT-CLIK may use browser storage and permissions required for core functionality (for example, context menus, active tab interaction, scripting, and settings storage).
Please review the project Privacy Policy for details on what data is accessed, stored, or processed.
If no separate Privacy Policy is provided yet, you should publish one before public distribution.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in GPT-CLIK, including its name, branding, code, and design, remain with the project owner(s), unless otherwise stated in an applicable open-source license.
If this project is released under an open-source license, that license governs permitted reuse of source code.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
GPT-CLIK is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
- The Extension will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- Results from AI services will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the project owner(s) and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of GPT-CLIK.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount required by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the project owner(s), maintainers, and contributors from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your use or misuse of GPT-CLIK.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of GPT-CLIK after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to GPT-CLIK (or specific functionality) at any time, with or without notice, where reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
